My Thanksgiving was great :) More than half of my family was there and it was was wonderful to see them all. We cooked our big feast at home instead if going out for it, it was a little chaotic, but very worth it in the end. I've also decided to stay up here for a while in Kentucky at my Aunt's house. I need a break from my normal surroundings and to be somewhere new and different for a while. I'll be up here until Christmas and then go back to Florida. You can find out it's going on my Twitter - www.Twitter.com/BrookeLechae :) Well I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving Holiday, see ya all later!

Excited.....
Hey everyone!
I'm very excited that next week is Thanksgiving! I can't believe that it's already here! I remember last year like it was yesterday, it's soooo crazy how fast time flies, it makes my head spin. I'm also excited that I get to go out of town for a few days and be somewhere new and have some fun! I hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday! This weekend, I hope to do a little shopping for some new clothes! I'm gonna check out Forever 21, that store never lets me down :) Anyways, this time change makes me so confused! I think it's like 9pm and I look at the clock and it says 6pm, it's confusing! I'm about to go pick out a movie to watch and see if I have any hot coco left to make, that always makes me feel better :) Have a great night world! See you all soon.

My Monday night!
So today consisted of absolutely nothing. Just been home all day Tweeting and playing with the dogs. About to have dinner soon, chicken, pasta and carrots! Then after that, I'm thinking a walk on the beach would be nice. I love going to the beach at night, it's peaceful and allows me to think and sort my thoughts out. There's a nice beach down the road from my house, on the other side of the water is a huge building that has condos in it. There's also this place beneath it called Harbor Walk, it has shops, restaurants, and it's right on the harbor where all the fishermen bring in all the fish they caught. It's all beautiful to look at during the night time, the lights reflect on the water and it makes everything glow. I love things like that :) See you all later...

My Sunday afternoon...
Today was a nice day. The weather wasn't freezing, but it was still cool out. I went with my Grandma to my Great Aunt's farm. She has horses, chickens, turkeys, dogs and a mule. We went out there just to hang out and visit, it was nice. I'm pretty excited for Thanksgiving! I get to go to Louisville, KY with all my family and stay at my Aunt's house there. It'll be lots of fun, we're gonna cook the Thanksgiving dinner at home! We're also gonna be doing Black Friday!!!! That'll be chaotic I'm sure, but loads of fun! The Holidays are always a wonderful time, so many great things happen. :) What's on everyone's wishlist for Christmas? I hope to buy myself an iPhone 4 finally! We'll see how it goes! but have a great day tomorrow everyone! See ya then!

How my night turned out...
Soooo, my night didn't turn out that bad at all. I went to the movies and got Starbucks afterward. I bundled up in my white Winter coat and my black boots, it felt nice. When I got home, I played with my puppy, Zoey. She always makes me feel better, she comes and sits on my lap and stares up at me. Haha it's like she knows when I'm feeling blue. She's like my tiny best friend. Considering she is a 3 pound teacup Chihuahua Hahaha <3 I got her for my Birthday this past June, it was the greatest! Anyways, I'm sitting here watching episodes of the old sitcom "Roseanne", it's always been a favorite. I'm also hoping tomorrow will be nice out, sunny and blue skies always make things better :) See you guys tomorrow!

In case you were wondering...
So I called my work today and I told them the deal. They said they understood, but they want me to think about it for a few days and then get back with them. So we'll see what happens! Anyways, I'm excited that it's finally the weekend, I hope to go out to eat tonight with my family at least. I feel like I've been caught up in my job and have had no time to do anything. That's life though. These days have been rough though anyway, I recently split with my boyfriend of a year....He was my bestfriend and my other half. We didn't not stay together because we didn't love each other or anything. He's joining the Airforce and leaves for basic training in February. We figured it'd be best to end it for now, since we might lose contact when he's done with training and all that. I hope we cross paths one day and can maybe have another chance together. We had great times and we made so many great memories together. It's hard to think about him sometimes, seeing his face in my mind is hard. Sometimes life pulls you separate ways and it's unfortunate. For all of you who are going through the same, just know that it'll be alright, don't think that your life is over, because it's not. Focus on you and do what makes you happy. It'll all be alright :) Come back later and I'll update you on what my weekend should be like!

Questioning My New Job
Hey guys!
So....I spent a couple weeks looking for a job. I'm 18 and it felt like it was time to get one. So after searching and searching for one...I went into Hooters to eat, one of the managers came up to our table to see how we were doing and somehow got on the subject about me finding a job. He gave me an application and said that we would talk right after I got done eating, I was actually excited! So me and the manager did a little chit chat and the head manager happened to walk by and he right then said that I was hired and to come in the next Monday and I did! We did orientation that day, and I also got my uniform and all the things that I needed to study. He told me to come in on Thursday at 9am.....early! I was so nervous that morning, I was afraid no one would like me and that they would ignore me. I felt so lost and out of place since it's my first job and all. My first day was training, I followed another Hooters Girl around for 4 hours so I could get the idea of what my job is. There's so much to it, I am usually NOT a people person, I'm not the best at conversations and whatnot (Trying to change that). Anyways, today was Veterns Day......which means the restaurant was JAM-PACKED. I was actually scared of this now! This was my second day and they already put me on the floor. They assigned me to be a hostess for the night and help clean up tables and run food to customers if I needed to....UGH. This is coming from a girl with absolutely no waitressing experience at all, I was so lost. Tonight was just chaotic and it got me to thinking. You have to try things out in life to see if it's something that you're good at, to see if it's your nitch, and I found out tonight, that I am no waitress. I plan on telling my manager that this isn't for me and that there's no point in having someone working for you that doesn't wanna be there....but at the same time I don't wanna look like I'm giving up. I'll think real hard about it, and see what my heart says. but for now, I'm home thinking about how much I love the cold weather that's finally here! I could see my breath tonight! I plan on making some hot chocolate and watching a movie for the rest of the night. So come back tomorrow to see what happens next with my job.
